1. What's this all about?

Painting your own pottery is one of the most relaxing things you can do. In our hectic world, sometimes you just need to sit down with some friends and family, have some conversation, and create something for your home, for your loved ones, or just for the shear joy of creating. We at Glazed Over want to do everything we can to help you have some quality time.

2. Where are you all located?

At the southwest corner of Memorial and Dairy-Ashford. When you're walking to your car in the Randall's parking lot, look straight across the street. We're near MaggieMoo's, Specs, Starbucks, and the Chuck E. Cheese.

3. How much does it cost?

Not a lot, and unlike going to the movies or the amusement park, afterwards you'll have something that you'll cherish the rest of your life. Studio time is $5/hour for children and $6/hour for adults. The prices of the pieces range from $1.50 to $45. You can find many wonderful items in the $10 range. The mosaic pieces range in price from $11 to $45.

4. I have this piece of pottery that I got somewhere else. I've painted it and I need to fire it. Can I use your kiln?

At the present time, we can't accept outside pieces in our kiln. We're worried about pieces exploding and damaging other people's pieces. Please let us know if you're interested in this type of service, we may be able to put you in touch with other people.

5. Is this pottery food safe?

Yes. We use only non-toxic paints, glazes, and pottery. That makes this pottery usuable, so enjoy your favorite food or beverage.

6. Do you all make pottery on a wheel at your studio?

We don't have a wheel.
